Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had very nice rooms with the MOST comfortable bed we've ever slept in and a fantastically huge shower, larger than expected. However, room servicing was only done late in the afternoon despite requesting an earlier time. The location was ideal for exploring Barcelona in a quiet area near the Gothic Quarter and within walking distance of many major sites. The dining experience was very good, with delicious meals, and the hotel facilities were wonderful.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The Damasco Suite was absolutely amazing, but the room assignment process could use improvement. The service was beyond exceptional, from booking spa treatments to interactions with all staff members. The location was ideal for exploring Barcelona, with easy access to major attractions. However, the dining options were somewhat limited. Overall, a mixed experience with definite highlights.
I had a wonderful stay at the Cotton House! The hotel is beautifully situated in a quieter part of Barcelona, within walking distance to everything I wanted to see. The rooms are cozy, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. However, the dining prices were a bit high, and the location felt a bit out of sync with the warm atmosphere of the public areas.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, with shabby balconies overlooking adjacent rooftops, rooftop air conditioning units, and residential laundry, lacked charm. However, the inside rooms with lovely balconies overlooking the inner courtyard and hotel terrace were a haven of comfort with the most luxurious bedding of our entire trip. The limited drink service was a downside, but the price was reasonable considering the luxurious bedding.
The hotel rooms, while perfectly usable, were disappointing as they were small and lacked any view. On the bright side, the service was attentive and made me feel at home. The location was perfect for exploring the city's attractions, but the dining options were not as varied as expected.
